Event Summary

Explore the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum and Herbert Hoover National Park in West Branch.  Learn about the 31st president of the United States, his work ethic and the appreciation for nature he developed during his formative years in West Branch. Our journey continues east to LeClaire.  Lunch will be served at the historic Crane and Pelican restaurant.   Other stops in LeClaire include: the Buffalo Bill Museum, the Picker’s store and West End Architectural Salvage store.  Free time to visit the other antique stores and downtown shops is included.

Registration Deadline:  August 15

Trip Cancellation Policy:  If the trip reservation is cancelled before the registration deadline the individual will be issued a full refund.   If the trip reservation is cancelled after the registration deadline, the individual will be refunded payment  only if the  assigned space is re-reserved by another person.  The refund shall be the amount of the trip less a $10 cancellation fee.  If assigned space is not re-reserved, no refund will be given. The trip reservation fee may also be transferred to another trip prior to the registration deadline providing the trip is not full.
