Adult Summer Camp: July 25th CANCELLED

Adults 18 & over are invited to join us for a unique experience during our first ever Adult Summer Camp! This new program features three sessions at three different Pottawattamie County parks and is designed for maximum fun!

Join us for our second session from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on July 25th at Arrowhead Park in Neola. Hit the lake for some canoeing and get used to life on the water, then bait your hook and get some fishing experience with help from our staff. Please note, you will need a valid Iowa fishing license to participate fully in this camp. Iowa fishing licenses may be purchased online & there is an option for a single day license. Click here to check out the Iowa Dept. of Natural Resources for more details.

Each of our three camp sessions is designed for adult learners to introduce them to new concepts and outdoor skills. Cost is $30.00 per person per camp session. Register for all three sessions or only the ones that interest you. Space is very limited and online pre-registration is required for attendance. This programming series is being presented as part of our adult education programming. Attendees must be 18 years and over to attend.

July 25th, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. - Arrowhead Park, Neola
Canoeing & Fishing * Adults must have valid Iowa fishing license

July 27th, 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. - Hitchcock Nature Center, Honey Creek
Campfire Cooking & Full Moon Night Hike

All camp supplies will be provided but campers are advised to dress for the weather & wear appropriate shoes. Water bottles, sunblock, & bug spray are also recommended. Registered campers are not required to purchase a daily park entrance pass or have a current membership to attend.
