Real Maple Syrup Pancake Feed

Botna Bend Park, Pottawattamie County

Saturday, August 20, 2016

Every year in early spring Ranger Jon Fenner & his staff tap the silver maple trees that call Botna Bend home & collect their sticky sweet sap to make their own special maple syrup.  Join us on August 20th to taste the fruits of their labor! Grilled pancakes & sausage will be served with our homemade maple syrup along with coffee & orange juice from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. so don't be late!

While you are enjoying breakfast take a minute to buy a raffle ticket for a beautiful handmade quilt, proceeds go toward the weekend Kids' Craft Program at Botna Bend.  If you are lucky we might even have syrup to sell!

There is no fee for this event, free will donations are accepted. Please call 712-741-5465 for more information.
