Head to Hancock, Iowa for a day full of fun during the Hancock Hallows Eve celebration.Botna Bend Park is excited to participate in this year's event. Join us at the park for some great family fun!
There is no fee to participate in any of our planned activities. Park visitors are required to pay the $2.00 per vehicle daily use fee or have a valid annual park permit. Daily admission fees may be paid at the gate & 12 month annual park permits may be purchased at the campground office or from our park rangers.
Activities for this year include:
Campground Trick or Treat - 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Get a jump start on your trick or treating and view the decorated campsites.
Creatures of the Night - TBA p.m. at Olsen Lodge
A presentation on owls & other raptors by Fontenelle Forest, courtesy of Pottawattamie County Conservation.
Disc Golf Tournament - all day
Free rentals & official score cards are available at the park office. All score cards must be turned in to the office by 8:00 p.m. for judging.
Campsite Decorating Contest - Judging from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sites are judged on creativity, day display & night display with a prize for the first place winner. All camping is first come, first served with no reservations taken. Tent sites are $10.00 per tent per night & RV camping is $15.00 per night. All campers are welcome to decorate and participate in the contest with no pre-registration required.
