Join our Nature Club and get ready to go on an adventure. Students will explore the Loess Hills at Hitchcock Nature Center during this immersive new program. Join us ​for this new programming series on Saturday, ​September 14th at 4:00 p.m. at Hitchcock Nature Center. This new programming series is designed for children age 6 & over without an adult. Each program will last one hour and adults are invited to join our free Speaker Series events running at the same time! 

Discover the natural world on the trails at Hitchcock Nature Center as you explore the Loess Hills. Activities will include nature journaling to record observations & discoveries, documenting a native plant & its changes throughout the season, guided hikes along the trails at Hitchcock Nature Center, & more. Club members completing the series will receive a certificate & recognition in our monthly newsletter, The Conservator. 

Cost is $3.00 per child, and includes admission to the park & all program materials. Programs will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center on the second Saturday of the month, May through October at 4:00 p.m. Online pre-registration is required for these events as space is limited. For questions not answered online please call 712-545-3283, registration will not be taken over the phone.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Guests may cancel their reservation for a full refund up to 1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 & speaking with staff directly. Cancellations made less than 1 week (7 days) in advance of the program date will not be refunded. Programs cancelled by PCC for any reason will be refunded.

This event is not pet friendly, please leave your dogs at home. Service animals are always welcome. Weather Permitting.
