Awake In the Woods: Loess Hills Myth Craft Series
NOV 13 2021 3:30 PM
Event Summary
- Are you interested in having a more connected experience with the Natural World?
- Would you like to notice more wildlife while walking in the forest and prairie?
- Does the idea of being able to read some of the language of the land sound appealing to you?
If so, join naturalist and student of folklore Dustin Clayton on November 13th for a walking discussion through the autumn forest. Through a series of contemplative and imaginal techniques (and quite a bit of sitting quietly and noticing), we'll begin to build a woods walking practice that accomplishes these goals.
Program cost covers park admission. Ages 16+.
Meet in the Bluestem Room of the Loess Hills Lodge (downstairs) at Hitchcock Nature Center.
Cost
Adults - $8.00
Child - $8.00
