Geocache & Earthcache Bash

Explore the Loess Hills on a technological scavenger hunt during Hitchcock Nature Center’s Geocache Bash. Check out a GPS unit to learn how to enter coordinates called waypoints and navigate using an electronic compass. Bring your sense of adventure as you set out in search of hidden caches along the trails. All experience levels are welcome, but hiking may include traversing steep terrain. 20 units will be available to check out upon registering for the event on a first come, first served basis. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, July 17th. Cost: $5.00 per person. Please call 712-242-1197 to register. Weather permitting.
