Hitchcock Nature Center- Meet at the Old Lincoln Highway Deck at the Hitchcock Nature Center Campground to begin this walk down Hohneke Trail to Oak Avenue and Bunker Hill Loops. Visitors will experience the newest addition to our trail system, explore a remnant of the Old Lincoln Highway and walk near the Hitchcock Raptor Banding Station. We invite the public to attend all of the hikes in the series. They are designed to introduce visitors to Hitchcock Nature Center as well as the Loess Hills. The series will start with a more moderate trail, and we will work our way towards a healthy, invigorating 2.5 mile hike to the most western edge of the preserve at the series' end. Bring your water bottle and join us in the fun! Cost: $2.00 per person. Weather permitting.
