Ringgold County Conservation offers Monarch Tagging! The Ringgold County Conservation Board is participating in the Monarch Watch tagging program and needs your help capturing Monarch Butterflies to tag! Join RCCB on September 8th at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and investigate the life cycle of a Monarch Butterfly, discover how to identify male and female Monarchs, study Monarch migration and learn how to tag Monarchs on their journey south to central Mexico. Attend this FREE public program in Ringgold County to explore the life of a Monarch Butterfly. RCCB will provide butterfly nets to catch your own butterfly for this family friendly event! Meet at the Enclosed Shelter at Fife’s Grove Park north of Mount Ayr which offers unique prairie walks and butterfly habitat.
