Conservation Center Classroom

A large two level environmental education building which houses four offices, an exhibit area, classroom, library, kitchen and two storm shelters.  The Conservation Center is completely handicap accessible.  The upper level consists of an exhibit area to display several animal mounts, interactive displays, an observation deck, restrooms, kitchenette and will have a smaller scale gift shop.  The lower level will include a classroom utilized by schools, youth & civic groups, as well as several local organizations.  The library serves as a small meeting room equipped with several environmental books and magazines that can be checked out. There is also internet access available for individuals wanting to do project research or school work in a quiet setting. A full kitchen is made available to use as well.  There are two storm shelters available for use during inclement weather. One is open 24 hours 7 days a week during the camping season for our park visitors. There are also two restrooms in the lower level as well.


Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 07:00 AM and check-out is before 10:00 PM.

Location Just inside the main entrance at Hagge Park, take the first driveway to the right.

Fees

A $75 fee to reserve the Classroom. 

If you are an organized youth or conservation group, please call the office to inquire about reservations.
