Introduction to Shooting- Ages 10-12- July 19 & 20- 9 am - 3 pm

Event Summary

Learn basic safety, gear, targets, sighting of firearms, and graduate to using BB guns, archery, wrist rockets, and air rifles.  We will be plinking at different targets, which is a great outdoor family activity! Taught by hunter safety instructor, guns will be provided.  End the day with swimming or canoeing in the lake each day.  Camp will be held at Big Sioux Recreation Area, 84 W 10th St., Hawarden.  Camp is from 9 am-3 pm on both days, camper must attend full days of camp.
