Monarchs, Milkweed and You

Event Summary

Join local nature enthusiast, John Buntsma, for a pollinator walk at Oak Grove followed by an indoor nature program at the Prairie Woods Nature Center. Some topic discussions will be: types of native milkweeds; how to obtain plants and seeds; as well as other desirable pollinator plants. Chemicals and other dangers to monarchs as well as life cycle, migration patterns, and environmental and diet situations will be discussed.
