Owl Prowl 2024

Event Summary

February is a great time for hearing owls during their courtship and egg-laying season. We will meet at the Prairie Woods Nature Center for an introduction on owls. Then we will spend time hiking and calling for owls including barred, great horned and screech owls. Dress warmly and feel free to bring a flashlight covered with a red cloth or cellophane.

Our Sioux County Owls will make their appearance! 

Registration is required is not required but appreciated. Registration will open approximately two months before event and ends 11:00pm the day before event. Please call our office for last minute sign ups 712-552-3057.
