Event Summary

This event is for young men ages 12-15 that enjoy the outdoors and would like to learn more about Iowa's great diversity.  Topics include:

  • Wildlife Conservation
  • Dog Training & Selection
  • .22 Rifle & Shotgun shooting
  • Pheasant, Waterfowl, and Turkey Hunting
  • Muzzleloading
  • Archery
  • Fur harvesting
  • Gun Cleaning
  • Game Care & Handling
  • Plus much more!

Instructors of this event include DNR conservation officers, county conservation officers and many more conservation professionals.  This events registration fee of $100 is paid for by the Sioux Prairie Pheasants Forever Chapter, for those that are Sioux county residents.  This event is offered both June 27-29 and July 25-27, 2012.
