Monarch Watch

Event Summary

Join the Sioux County Naturalist for a fun filled morning of tagging monarchs.  We will meet at the wood box in the Deer Run Campground from 9:30- 11 am.  We will start the morning by learning about monarchs, and their migration to Mexico, along with techniques in capturing and tagging placement on the monarchs.  We will also learn about their life cycle, habitat and much more.  This program is family orientated.  If you have your own butterfly net please bring it along.  Program will be cancelled if raining.
