Walk the Trails!

Event Summary

Join Environmental Education Coordinator Jerry Keys as we walk the trails in your county parks. This is a great opportunity to explore new places, meet new hiking pals, and have the opportunity to ask nature or park-related questions. These hikes are for ages 16 and up.

Trails: 

Tuesday, April 29: Hertz family Woods & Nature Preserve (approx. 1 mile on crushed limestone)

Tuesday, May 6:  Christiansen Forest Preserve (1 mile on dirt trail with some steep grades)

Tuesday, May 13:  Robinson Wildlife Acres (2-2.5 Miles on dirt trail)

Tuesday, May 20:  McFarland Park 2.5 (3 miles on dirt trail with some steps)

Dress for the weather. Only cancelled due to severe weather.
