CANCELED Nature Play: Into the Woods

Event Summary

Due to COVID-19, this event has been canceled. Here is a chance for families to gather and allow their kids to play freely with other kids outdoors. During this unstructured activity, a naturalist will lead the group to a designated wooded area and will facilitate fort building and nature free play. Let the imagination, discoveries, and friendships unfold! Participants should wear long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Adults must remain present. After the designated play time, families are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and continue the fun at the Nature Playscape. This program is free, but registration is required and spots will be limited. This activity is most appropriate for ages 5 and up, but all ages are welcome. 

Equipment provided: shovels, magnifying glasses, and jars.
