Summer Skills: GPS

McFarland Park, Story County

Monday, August 2, 2021

Come learn how to use a GPS, and learn the sport of geocaching. Solve riddles and find the answers by using your newly acquired skills with the GPS! Participants will work in groups to travel throughout the park. Wear good walking shoes, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray.

This camp is for children who have completed grades 5 & up in the spring of 2021.

Registration begins May 3rd at 6 pm, and ends July 19th at 4 pm.

Our top priority has been and will continue to be the health and well-being of the public and the staff. In response to COVID-19, Story County Conservation programs will adhere to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation, and we recommend face coverings when social distancing is not possible or while indoors. Pre-registration will be required when group size needs to be limited due to the facility or location.
