Help reduce your household food waste and create nutrient rich compost by building your own indoor worm bin! During the program, you will be setting up your bin and learning how to maintain it after you get home. You will also learn tips and tricks about at-home composting.
This program is suitable for children, but some content will be geared towards adults. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
All supplies needed to start a worm bin will be provided (bin, worms, newspaper).
This program will take place inside the conservation center.
Cost for this class is $25 per family; Register by January 27, 2023 at 4 pm.
Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline. To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516.
