Jessica Butters with Prairie Rivers of Iowa will cover native pollinator diversity here in Iowa, why we should care about pollinators and create habitat for them, the current challenges of pollinator habitat, and how we can create the best home for them. We will go through some great native plant species to plant, how to be neighborly when planting native gardens, and other information such as how to mitigate light pollution for our night-time pollinators.
