Event Summary

Do you like owls? Have you ever been out to look for owls? Here is your chance, join the Tama County Naturalist on a winter evening hike to look for the Iowa native owls. This hike will include a campfire at the nature center with s'mores, coffee, and hot chocolate as well as a short program on Iowa's owls and a guided hike in Otter Creek Lake and Park in search of the creatures of the night! This is a FREE program that we ask you to RSVP to Brendan Kelly by email at bkelly@tamacounty.org or by phone at 641-484-2231. By sending in your RSVP, your spot in the hike will be guaranteed.

Boots, gloves, hats, coats, and warm clothing are recommended for this hike.
