Event Summary

This workshop will consist different informational segments. Participants are free to come and go as they please and do not have to stay for the whole event.

The schedule for the day is as follows: 

1:30PM-3PM - Midwestern Raptor Population Trends as Determined by Forty Years of Christmas Bird Count Data 

3PM-3:15PM - Bio Break 

3:15PM-4PM - Dutch oven cooking (WCCB)

4PM-5PM - Introduction to Nocturnal Raptors of Iowa 

5PM-6PM Dutch Oven Dinner (chili and cornbread dinner provided by WCCB)

6PM-7:30PM Night Hike Owl Prowl

This workshop will be conducted by Kelly McKay (BioEco Research and Monitoring Center), with assistance from Mark Roberts (Clinton County Conservation), Brian Ritter & James Wiebler (Nahant Marsh Ed. Center).
