Prairie Seed Collection

Event Summary

Come one, come all to help the WCCB bring in the harvest. Help collect prairie grass and forb seed from the WCCB parks and wildlife areas. We will start at the Annett Nature Center and see where we end up. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves and closed-toe shoes. A water bottle and insect repellent are also recommended. Prairie seed collections are vital to the future restoration efforts of prairie on WCCB areas.
