Event Summary

Why do some birds migrate south for the winter? Why do others stay here in Iowa instead? Learn the answers and build a bird feeder to attract the birds that brave the Iowa winter, to your house, at our bird feeder workshop. The feeders will be built as a platform feeder but can easily be changed to a gravity feeder. They are made form rough sided cedar and will last a long time. Each bird feeder kit is $10 and you may put together as many as you like or take them home to give as gifts to others.
