Prairie Seed Harvest

Event Summary

Join Warren County Conservation staff and become part of our prairie restoration efforts. Learn about prairie ecology and help us harvest prairie seed by hand. You will learn how and what to collect.  It is best to wear close-toed shoes, long pants, long sleeves.  You may want to bring bug spray, work gloves and a water bottle. Meet at the shelter near the main entrance before the campground.  Please register by Monday, October 5th by calling (515) 961-6169 or filling out the form at http://www.warrenccb.org/events/seedharvest/ Location may be changed depending on seed availability.
