    Rental Contract Agreement

    I agree to be responsible for any damages done to WCCB property during our stay by ourselves or our guests. I agree the Board may apply an additional fee to wholly or partially satisfy any damages caused by members of said group while using the facilities. Failure to clean up the facility and surrounding area may also result in additional charges.

    I further agree to accept the responsibilities stated in the "Tiny Home Rental Policy" and to abide by all state, county, and WCCB rules and regulations. Failure to comply with any cabin or park rules may result in fines, forfeiture of fees, and suspension of park privileges.

    Maximum Occupancy: Two (2) people
    Alcohol Use: No kegged beer. Hard liquor is prohibited.
    Smoking & pets are not allowed inside the cabin. 
    Key Code: Renter will be assigned a key code that will be sent by email with instructions. 


    Cancellation Policy

    Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. 

    However, if you need to cancel your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule within 12 months.

    ALL changes must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (515) 576-4258.

    Refund Policy

    Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation. Cancellations or changes must be made 15 days in advance of your reservation. 

    SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID. 

    Cancellations cannot be done online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (515) 576-4258

    This “tiny home” has all the amenities of a travel trailer, without having to haul it! Inside this 28 foot by 10 foot “cabin,” there is room for two to sleep on a full size bed. You will also find a full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, mini kitchen counter with sink, microwave, medium size refrigerator and freezer, and a window air unit. While spending time inside the cabin, enjoy being surrounded by our hunting theme! From deer antlers, wildlife prints & turkey feathers, you will think you’re on a hunting trip instead of visiting an Off-Highway Vehicle Park.

    This cabin is also wheelchair-friendly. There is a ramp that offers a smooth route into the cabin. Once inside, it offers enough turning radius, widened door openings, and lowered countertops.

    Located on full hook up campsite #24 within Gypsum City OHV Park Campground, the Hunting Cabin offers electricity, water and sewer. Enjoy the scenery overlooking a pond on the deck with a small table and two chairs or venture down to the picnic table and fire ring that is also available on site and is wheelchair-friendly. There is room to accommodate a vehicle and/or trailer on the west-side up to 29 feet long and on the east-side up to 29 foot long.  

    There is a two day minimum rental on weekends and a three day minimum on weekends including a holiday. There is also a two week limit stay between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Check in is 3 pm. Check out is 11 am.  No Pets Allowed.

    Renter will need to bring:
    - Complete Linens: fitted sheet, blankets, sleeping bag & pillows
    - Bath linens & toiletries: towels, soap, etc.
    - Cooking utensils
    - Lawn chairs (cabin furniture is not allowed to leave the deck)
    - Firewood (available for purchase in campground also)

    Items Supplied:
    - Microwave
    - Medium size refrigerator
    - Toilet paper & paper towels
    - Disinfectant cleaner, broom, dustpan, mop, bucket & sponge
    - Garbage container with bags
    - Fitted cover on beds 

     

    *Please note that during times of persistent rain or unfavorable trail conditions, the trails at Gypsum City OHV Park may be closed. The campground remains open even when trails are closed.
