Event Summary
Webster County Conservation and the Iowa DNR will be hosting a unique and fun day of fishing at Moorland Pond, west of Fort Dodge on Sat., March 24. Ben Wallace with the Iowa DNR will introduce the trout stocking at 1:00 pm. Some of the released trout will be tagged and prizes awarded for those caught. Take part in a beginners fishing instruction, casting contest, waterfowl watching, trumpeter swan program, and catching tagged trout. All activities will end at 3:00 pm. Take a kid fishing and enjoy a fun afternoon. Bring a pole, bait, and fishing license. A valid fishing license is required for 16 and older. Trout stamp required to keep trout.
