Event Summary

5:30 p.m. Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center. Join Summer Naturalist intern Michelle McClanahan in creating your own acrylic painting of native flora on a natural canvas: a wood cookie! At the same time, learn about the vital wildflowers and grasses that call Iowa’s prairie their home. Paint and brushes will be provided, and the painting session will be step-by-step. Drawing skills are not required.  Kids are welcome and will be making their own rock painting.
