Event Summary
Southwood Conservation Area, 1 mile S of Smithland, Iowa. Meet at the parking lot by the ponds. Learn about stars, meteors and the natural night sky. Wear sturdy walking shoes for a short hike and look for shooting star or meteors. Observers are welcome to stay past normal park closing hours as the meteor showers typically peak after midnight.
