Event Summary
Southwood Conservation
Area, 1 mile S of Smithland, Iowa. There’s more than meets the eye! Kids will take a
closer look at the world around them to discover the critters that our eyes
often miss. We will look for macro-invertebrates in the pond, use magnifying
glasses to observe nature, and take a closer look at the critters crawling in
the soil. Bring a water bottle & wear shoes that can get wet & muddy. Limited
to 15 participants, ages 7-12. Meet at the parking lot by the pond. Please
