Coffee & Conservation: Hiking the Appalachian Trail

Event Summary

Join us for coffee and conversations about conservation! Each month features different presenters and topics related to conservation and the environment. Freshly brewed Starbucks coffee and assorted pastries are provided! This month Join 'Grammy' and 'Pappy' as they journey on the Appalachian Trail.  Experience their peaks and valleys on America's Footpath as they section hike through fourteen states from Georgia to Maine.  Discover the answers to questions such as 'where do they sleep', 'what do they carry' and 'what do they eat' and 'what possesses them to do it?  Chris and Tim Case will share their experiences of seven years following the White Blazes.
