Coffee & Conservation: Ambassadors of DPNC

Event Summary

Join us for coffee and conversations about conservation! Each month features different presenters and topics related to conservation and the environment. Freshly brewed Starbucks coffee and assorted pastries are provided! This month, Mariah Myers, Naturalist at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center, will present a program all about our special animal ambassadors. She’ll share everything from their unique stories and how we acquired them, to the permits required to house native North American species, how we care for each individual, and our training and enrichment plans.
