Women in the Woods Summer Solstice Hike Rescheduled

Event Summary

Stone State Park (Equestrian Day-Use Area). Are you a woman interested in hiking, but don’t like going alone? This hike is for women ages 18 and up and is designed to encourage women to explore the trails of Stone Park in a comfortable setting. The group will be led by a Woodbury County Naturalist who will also share some nature knowledge along the way. This is a moderate 3-mile hike through hilly terrain. We will enjoy hiking in the extended hours of daylight of the summer solstice, which is on June 20th. Meet in the Equestrian Day-Use Area parking lot at the East entrance (off Memorial Drive).
