Women in the Woods 6-mile Hike

Event Summary

Are you a woman interested in hiking, but don’t like going alone? This hike is for women ages 18 and up and is designed to encourage women to explore the trails of Stone Park in a comfortable setting. The group will be led by a Woodbury County Naturalist who will also share some nature knowledge along the way. This is a moderately strenuous 6-mile hike through hilly terrain. Meet in the lower parking lot at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center. Limited to 15 participants. Please pre-register by calling 712-258-0838 or email ksandage@woodburyparks.org.
