Women in the Woods Birdwatching

Event Summary

Are you a woman interested in birdwatching, but don’t want to go alone? Or maybe you’re interested in birdwatching, but not sure how to get started. This program is designed to encourage women to go birdwatching in a comfortable and educational setting. No prior bird knowledge required! The group will be led by a Woodbury County Naturalist and Marla Kerr, president of the Loess Hills Audubon Society. We will leisurely walk the trails (about 1 mile) around the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center. Come dressed to be outdoors. Bring your own binoculars or borrow a pair from us.
