Women (and Girls) in the Woods Hike

Event Summary

This hike is designed for women to hike alongside their daughter/granddaughter/niece/sister etc. and introduce them to hiking in a comfortable setting. Girls must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult. The group will be led by a Woodbury County Naturalist who will also share some nature knowledge along the way.  This is a moderate 3-mile hike through hilly terrain. Meet in the lower parking lot of the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center. Limited to 20 participants. Please pre-register by calling 712-258-0838 or email ksandage@woodburyparks.org.
