Snowshoeing for Kids

Event Summary

3:30 p.m., Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center. Learn how to snowshoe! Children should be 8 years or older to fit our snowshoes. There are a limited number of snowshoes available so please call 712-258-0838 to pre-register. Dress in layers for the weather and wear snowboots. There must be a minimum base of 4 inches of snow in order to snowshoe. If not enough snow, a winter hike will take place if trail conditions allow.
