Description
The Cedar County Conservation Board is accepting
applications for Temporary Full Time Seasonal Conservation Workers. These seasonal employees will be working up to 16 weeks at 40 hours/week from May through August.
Some weekend work may be required throughout the course of the seasonal
employment term. Hourly pay is $11.00
with no benefits.
Applicants
need to be energetic and highly motivated. Conservation Workers are
required to be intelligent individuals who are willing to follow detailed directions
from full-time staff members and perform high-quality work until objective
completion. Conservation Workers duties and objectives include: park
maintenance, natural resources and wildlife habitat management, tree and brush
removal off of trails and highly used areas, equipment and building
maintenance, operating of vehicles and equipment, and assisting with any other
conservation program activities.
Qualifications
No prior experience required. Students working towards a degree in the field of Conservation or Parks & Recreation are encouraged to apply.
