Description
The Wayne County Conservation Board in Allerton, IA is searching for the perfect candidate to be our full time Naturalist. A person with a strong background in outdoor recreation and education are encouraged to apply.
This position will work closely with all of the Wayne County School Districts, Libraries, Day Cares, and Elderly Homes. Also presenting customized age appropriate programs in elementary classes. During the summer months, the Naturalist will give programs in the Wayne County Parks.
The full time Naturalist position will be based on a 40-hour work week. Will submit monthly and year-end annual reports. Work within an annual budget. Keep records of contacts, program activities, and help maintain the department social media page.

Qualifications
High school diploma with a college degree preferred in a conservation related field or a combination of college work and job related experience. Must possess a valid driver's license and pass background check.
