Description
General duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in daily maintenance tasks in county areas such as mowing, trimming, painting, etc.
- Explain regulations and recreational opportunities for area users in a clear, concise, and courteous manner.
- Provide for safety of area visitors; administer first aid if needed.
- Ensure fee collection including weekend and holiday evenings.
- Maintain neat personal appearance and wear uniform while on duty. Adhere to agency policy and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by director.
- Work weekends, holidays, and other irregular hours as assigned.
- Supervise other seasonal employees
Qualifications
Qualifications and requirements: Interest in conservation, recreation, park management, biology, wildlife biology, forestry or other natural science preferred. Must have a valid drivers license.
