Description
Greene County Conservation is offering one summer positions under the supervision of the park ranger assisting with all aspects of park maintenance and natural resource management. These positions provide an opportunity to gain diverse work experience within the County Conservation system. Seasonal employees will primarily assist with duties that include mowing, trimming, facilities repairs, minor construction, cleaning and park patrol in various parks, natural areas, and public facilities throughout the county. This position can also provide limited college credit towards applicable degrees at a university. Position can start as early as April and end as late as September; start and end dates are flexible.
Qualifications
Prefer applicant working towards a degree in natural resources, conservation, parks or recreation. Prior outdoor work experience will be considered. Applicants must be 18 years of age, have no criminal convictions. Must have valid drivers license.
