Description
The Deputy Director plays a crucial role in assisting the Director with managing conservation and recreational programs in Dallas County. This position involves strategic planning, budgeting, staff supervision, and community engagement. The Deputy Director works closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective operation of the Conservation Board, overseeing day-to-day operations and supporting the Director in achieving the Board's mission to protect, preserve, and enhance our natural resources. This position is responsible for assisting in directing the projects and programs of the Dallas County Conservation Board (DCCB). This position has direct supervision over Natural Resource Technicians and other seasonal and part-time personnel.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Forestry, Wildlife Biology, or related natural resource field. Three to five years progressive work related experience.
