Description
This is a two-part position: Assists the Naturalist in organizing, developing, and presenting a quality environmental educational program for the residents of Henry County, as well as assisting in the development and promotion of the department through its websites and social media. Will also assist the Director and Operations Supervisor as needed, conducting a variety of tasks in the field such the development and maintenance of wildlife areas, campgrounds and facilities. Operate a variety of equipment to perform construction, maintenance and repair work in parks, park areas, campground and facilities.
Qualifications
Graduation from college, with a minimum of a two-year degree in a related field of study, AND one-year experience in professional conservation, education, or natural science work or an equivalent combination of education and experience recommended.
