Description
There are 2 Summer Conservation Aide positions available for this spring/summer. One will be based out of Deep Lakes Park and the other out of Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area, although successful candidates will be working throughout Muscatine County Conservation Board's parks and wildlife areas.
Duties include mowing and weed eating; cleaning facilities and restrooms; assisting with park patrol; care of native plantings and invasive species removal; painting, maintenance, and light construction; beach care and working with the canoe shuttle service. 90% of the work will be completed outdoors. This position is a seasonal position that could start as early as April and run through October. These jobs are for a 40-hour work week and require working some nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age. Prefer a BS degree or working toward a degree in conservation, natural resources, or a related field. Must have a valid driver’s license. Experience in operation of mowers, chainsaw, and small tools
