Master Conservationist Program

The Master Conservationist Program is a collaborative Program offered by ISU Extension and Outreach, Buchanan and Benton County Conservation Boards, and local conservation leaders and professionals. Classes begin August 19 and will take place at several locations in Benton and Buchanan Counties. Participants will learn more about Iowa's natural ecosystems and the diversity of conservation challenges and opportunities that exist in the region. Graduates of the course learn to make informed choices for their own land as well as behaviors and skills to educate others and advocate for improved conservation in Iowa.

Participants will be asked to view pre-recorded educational sessions online as well as participate in hands-on activities during scheduled sessions.
