Swimming at Little River Recreation Area
A large beach offers and opportunity for individuals to cool off from the summer heat. Swimming is only allowed in the designated swimming areas marked by red buoys. There is no alcohol/glass allowed in the beach area. Pets are prohibited from this area also. Fishing is not allowed within 200 feet of the beach and is marked by two orange signs. The beach area is a swim at your own risk swimming area and there is no lifegaurd on duty.

The beach is located in the campground area.
Features
The beach offers a nice getaway for the family who wants to sit down for a picnic and enjoy a swime. Small shelters are located throughout the beach area along with charcoal grills. A changing station is also available. A pit toilet is located nearby. Little River Bait Shop is located just west of the beach where individuals can grab a drink and snack. Paddle Boat are avaialable for rent also. A small playground is located near the beach for young kids to play on.

The beach is only open during summer hours.
