Golf Course- Briggs Woods

Briggs Woods Golf Course is proclaimed as one of Iowa's most challenging golf courses, Briggs Woods has continued to demand the best from its golfers. From the first tee to the 18th green, this course stretches 6500 yards and a par 72. The USGA rating of 71.7 and a 119 slope rating challenges all golfers.

The Hamilton County Conservation Board is located in central Iowa and manages 19 individual parks, wildlife areas, and river accesses - collectively encompassing over 2,000 acres. In addition, several major creeks and the Boone River flow through the county providing numerous water recreation opportunities.
