Explorers: Papermaking with Foraged Plants

JOHNSON COUNTY EDUCATION PROGRAMS, Johnson County

Thursday, December 12, 2024

Join a JCC naturalist to create your own homemade paper with foraged material found at F.W. Kent Park! Participants will learn the process of papermaking and have the opportunity to add native prairie seed so that they can be planted to bring yearlong beauty and wildlife habitat to those you love. The Explorers series is a program designed for kids K-6 with an accompanying adult.

Registration automatically closes one day in advance. If you are fully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from MyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case.

JCC is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities. We welcome and encourage people with disabilities to attend programs and events. Accommodations may be requested by contacting naturalist staff at 319-645-1011 or jccnaturalists@gmail.com
