Fireside Crafts: Simple Bookbinding with Pressed Flowers
JOHNSON COUNTY EDUCATION PROGRAMS, Johnson County
Tuesday, November 19, 2024
Registration fee of $15 will cover cost of materials and can be paid in cash on the day of the event.
Grab a friend and join us for our fall fireside craft programs! This program will be held indoors at the Youth Group Lodge at Kent Park. In November, create a coptic stitch book that will be great for nature journaling or other purposes. Participants may choose to include pressed flowers collected from JCC sites on their covers. Many materials used will be low-impact and upcycled.
Registration automatically closes one business day in advance. If you are fully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from MyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case.
JCC is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities. We welcome and encourage people with disabilities to attend programs and events. Accommodations may be requested by contacting naturalist staff at 319-645-1011 or jccnaturalists@gmail.com
