Learn how to participate in the global community science program “Great Backyard Bird Count”. This program will overview the program, offer tips to participate, and will include a visit to the bird blind for a practice count.
The Great Backyard Bird Count is a global community science initiative that celebrates a love of birds while collecting observations that help scientists better understand global bird populations before one of their annual migrations. Learn to ID common backyard birds in our area and how you can contribute scientific data to this cause.
This event is open to youth and adults but youth must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
